How to use this tdee calculator
Activity is more than scheduled workouts: standing, walking and physical work also contribute. The multiplier is a rough assumption. If reliable intake and weight-trend data disagree with the estimate, review the inputs and seek tailored guidance.
Formula and assumptions
TDEE = simplified Mifflin–St Jeor resting kcal × activity factor: 1.2, 1.375, 1.55, 1.725 or 1.9.
Example calculation
A resting estimate of 1,648.75 kcal multiplied by 1.55 gives 2,555.56 kcal/day, displayed as about 2,554.
