Terms for using Foodmanac
These terms apply when you browse the website, use Foodmanac tools, access public interfaces or follow links to the Android application.
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using Foodmanac, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.
2. Permitted and prohibited use
You may use Foodmanac for lawful personal, educational and research purposes. You must not disrupt the service, bypass security, introduce malicious code, impersonate others, submit unlawful content or use automated requests at a rate that harms availability. Public interfaces may be limited or changed to protect the service.
3. Food data and sources
Foodmanac incorporates public food-composition information, including USDA FoodData Central records. Source data remains subject to its source terms; USDA FoodData Central data are public domain under CC0. Foodmanac’s organization, software, explanatory content and visual presentation are separate from underlying public records.
4. Educational and health limitation
Foodmanac provides general educational information, not medical diagnosis, treatment or personalized nutrition advice. Food values vary, and a catalogue entry may not represent the exact food or recipe you consume. Consult qualified professionals when information may affect health.
5. AI-assisted and identification features
AI responses and photo-based food suggestions can be incomplete or incorrect. They are not guaranteed identifications. Do not submit sensitive personal information, and independently verify important results.
6. Intellectual property
Unless a page states otherwise, Foodmanac software, branding, original text, layout and graphics are owned by or licensed to UMERON Technologies. These terms do not transfer ownership. You may link to public pages and make reasonable quotations with attribution, but may not misrepresent Foodmanac content as your own service.
7. External links and services
Foodmanac links to source publishers, Google Play and other independent services. We do not control their content, availability, privacy practices or terms.
8. Availability and changes
Features, records and interfaces may be corrected, updated, suspended or discontinued. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every record will remain unchanged.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Foodmanac is provided as is and as available without warranties of uninterrupted operation, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. UMERON Technologies will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from reliance on the service. This limitation does not exclude liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
10. Governing principles and contact
