Foodmanac is a project of UMERON Technologies. References to Foodmanac, we, us and our in this policy refer to the Foodmanac service and its operator.

2. Information that may be processed

Information you provide

If you contact us, we may receive your email address, message, attachments and any information you choose to include. Please do not submit medical records, passwords, government identifiers or other sensitive personal information.

Technical and usage information

Hosting, security and analytics systems may process IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, timestamps, referral information, approximate location and diagnostic logs. Public food-tool requests may include search terms, selected categories and requested food identifiers.

The Android app is distributed through Google Play, whose own terms and privacy practices apply. We do not sell the imported public food-composition records as personal information.

Information is retained only as reasonably needed for the purposes described, legal obligations, security and dispute resolution. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

7. Your privacy choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection regarding personal information. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Browser settings can block or remove cookies, although some functions may be affected.

8. Children

Foodmanac is an educational food-information service for a general audience. It is not intended to collect personal information directly from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted personal information may contact us to request review and deletion.

9. International processing and policy changes

Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. We may update this policy as the website, app, advertising setup or legal requirements change. The effective date will be revised when material changes are published.
